Please join us for this quarter's SE Valley V-Corps event with UMOM's Read To Me Program!  

Each volunteer reader will be paired with a child aged 4-12 years old. The child will pick out and read a book with their volunteer partner. (Children age 8 or over are welcome to be readers.)  

 Where:  UMOM's main campus located at 3333 E Van Buren St, Phoenix 85008

When:  Tuesday, June 18, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 7:45 PM   

UMOM's goal is to prevent and end homelessness. Read To Me is a program that introduces children to the importance of reading in a non-classroom, recreational setting and shows them that reading can be an enjoyable, entertaining activity they can participate in any time they wish to pick up a book. This program helps to promote literacy for children who may not have access to books outside of school. 

Our goal is to fill all 20 of the available spaces for June 18th.  Children age 8 and over are welcome to be readers, so please let me know at your earliest convenience how many readers you will be bringing!
